How to Get to
Labuan Bajo &
Komodo National Park
Labuan Bajo is the gateway to Komodo National Park and one of Indonesia's most spectacular diving regions. You can now reach it through domestic hubs like Bali and Jakarta, plus direct international routes from Kuala Lumpur with AirAsia and Singapore with Scoot.
Getting to Komodo National Park
To dive Komodo National Park, fly to Komodo Airport (LBJ) in Labuan Bajo, Flores. From there, dive boats depart from Labuan Bajo harbour to Central Komodo, North Komodo, Padar, Pink Beach, Rinca and South Komodo depending on conditions.

From Komodo Airport to your first dive day, the logistics are simple when you plan the timing correctly.
Arrive at Komodo Airport
Komodo Airport is small and close to town. Labuan Bajo harbour and most hotels are a short taxi ride away. Airport transfers are easy to arrange on arrival.
Stay in Labuan Bajo
Stay near the town centre or harbour for the easiest dive logistics. If you are diving early, check your hotel breakfast and transfer timing before arrival.
Confirm Your Dive Details
Before your trip, confirm your certification level, gear sizes, dietary needs and any flight time constraints. This helps us choose the best route and plan safely.
Boat to Komodo National Park
Komodo dive sites are reached by boat from Labuan Bajo. Central Komodo is usually the fastest region; North, Padar, Pink Beach and South Komodo are longer routes.
Dive Komodo
Expect manta rays, turtles, reef sharks, coral gardens, drift dives and world-class biodiversity. Routes are adapted to weather, tides, currents and diver level.
Plan Your No-Fly Time
Do not plan a flight too soon after diving. Leave a conservative surface interval after your last dive day, especially after repetitive dives or multi-day packages.
Best Season to Visit Komodo
Komodo is diveable year-round. The best month depends on the kind of diving you want.
