This trip is for advanced divers only. We recommend Advanced Open Water certification, strong buoyancy control and previous drift diving experience. Conditions can be challenging and final participation is always safety-based.
No. Hammerheads are wild pelagic animals, so sightings can never be guaranteed. South Komodo offers strong potential when conditions are right, especially with colder upwellings and thermoclines. Be ready for an adventure regardless of what we see.
Komodo National Park diving fees are included in the displayed price. Nitrox is available on request for certified Nitrox divers and subject to operational availability.
South Komodo dives can include profiles from around 18 metres to deeper advanced depths depending on the site, current and visibility. Your guide sets the final plan according to conditions, no-decompression limits and the group's experience.
South Komodo requires a much longer speed boat crossing, higher fuel use, more crew time and three guided dives. It's remote, advanced and operationally heavier than Central Komodo routes.
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations to receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure forfeit the deposit. Manta Dive Komodo never cancels for weather without offering an alternative date or full refund.
