Common Questions

PADI Courses Komodo — FAQ

Everything you need to choose the right course with Manta Dive Komodo.

If you are certified, comfortable and have recent dives, fun dives are usually the best choice. If you want access to more Komodo sites or more confidence in current, Advanced Open Water is the smarter option.
Yes. Many of the best sites involve depth and drift. Advanced Open Water certifies you to 30 m and is required on our North Komodo, Padar, Pink Beach and South day trips.
We offer two options: 2 days with 4 course dives, or 3 days with 4 course dives and 2 adventure dives. Open Water is arranged on request, so message us with your dates.
Rescue Diver is for Advanced Open Water divers. Our price includes the Emergency First Response (EFR) first aid and CPR training you need alongside it.
Yes. If you already hold Advanced Open Water, the deep dive you completed counts towards the specialty, so the course is shorter and priced lower.
Nitrox is very useful for several dive days in a row. Used correctly, it extends no-decompression limits and is especially practical on multi-day packages.
For ocean-dive courses, displayed prices include the Komodo National Park diving fees. Courses without ocean dives do not require park fees.
