Multi-day diving in Komodo National Park
Manta Dive Komodo runs multi-day diving packages from Labuan Bajo, from two to six consecutive days, by speed boat. Depending on the package, the routes combine Central Komodo, North Komodo, the Padar trek day, with the remote South Komodo hammerhead route available as an option on every Advanced package. Prices include Komodo National Park fees, full equipment, meals and water. Maximum four divers per guide, on every day.

Five Ways to Dive Komodo
Each package is a fixed number of consecutive days with a planned route mix. The exact sites are chosen each morning around tides, currents and the level of the group.
Reef
Two days in Central Komodo, the heart of the park. This is where Batu Bolong and Manta Point sit, and two days give you time to dive both without rushing either. The shortest package, and the one that suits divers who have a few days in Labuan Bajo rather than a week.
Channel
Two days in Central Komodo plus one full day in the north, where Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and the Cauldron sit in the channels that give this package its name. The northern day is where Komodo stops being a reef holiday and starts being current diving. Nitrox is included from day three.
Pelagic
Most BalancedCentral, north, and the Padar day — sunrise on the three-bay viewpoint, then two dives. Four days is the point where you stop choosing between diving and seeing Komodo above the water, and do both without cutting either short. The most complete package for a first proper trip.
Pinnacle
Best Chance for the SouthEverything in Pelagic plus a further day in Central Komodo — and, over five days, your best chance at the day most divers never get: the remote south. Colder water, stronger current, and the park's best odds of hammerheads and oceanic mantas in the blue. The south is an option, charged only on the day it actually runs: the longer the stay, the more windows the weather leaves open.
Apex
The Full ParkThe whole park in one trip: four days in Central, the northern channels and Padar, with the south as an option. Six days is where the weather stops dictating the whole trip — if the south is closed on the planned day, there is room to try again later in the week. No route can be guaranteed against the sea, and the southern supplement is charged only on the day it runs. The longest package we offer, and the only one that leaves room for every zone of the park and the weather that governs it.
Swap a Day for the Rinca Dragon Trek
On any package, one Central Komodo day can be replaced by a morning on Rinca Island with a park ranger, walking among the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, followed by two dives in the afternoon.
Combined with the Padar day, it means you leave with both of the park's defining experiences above the water — the three-bay viewpoint and the dragons — without giving up the diving that brought you here. The Rinca day has two dives rather than three, so the package has one dive fewer. See the day trip page for what the Rinca day looks like.

The Hammerhead Route, Paid Only If It Runs
South Komodo is the most remote part of the park: colder water, stronger current, and the best chance of hammerheads and oceanic mantas in the blue. It only runs when tides, current and weather allow, so we never sell it as a certainty.
On any Advanced package, you can ask for the south in place of a Central day. The supplement is charged only on the day it actually runs — if the sea keeps us out, you pay nothing extra. Five- and six-day packages leave the most windows to catch it. See the South Komodo page for what the day involves.

Not Advanced Yet? You Can Still Come
Every package from three days includes North Komodo or Padar, which are Advanced-level routes. If you are certified Open Water, you can still book any package: those days are replaced by Central Komodo days, where the diving is some of the best in the park and the currents are gentler.
Central days cost less than the Advanced routes, so the price comes down accordingly. Send us your dates and certification, and we will confirm the exact amount. The South option is reserved for Advanced divers.

Booked as Days, Planned as Weather
A package fixes how many days you dive with us. It does not fix which reef you are on at nine in the morning.
A package covers consecutive diving days. Spreading them across two weeks is not a package, it is separate day trips — and we are happy to arrange that instead.
The route mix is planned when you book. The individual sites within it are chosen the evening before, around tides, current and who is on the boat.
The south is an option, and it only runs when the sea allows. We fit it in when conditions open during your stay — and its supplement is charged only on the day it actually runs. If it never opens, you have paid nothing for it.
Multi-day diving means repetitive diving. Leave a full day between your last dive and your flight — tell us your departure and we will build the week around it.
